Karen Weitz, LMT #6163, a native Oregonian, brings almost 20 years of experience as a massage therapist to LifeQual Center. She studied at East West of the Healing Arts graduating in 1997. She has said that if PhD in massage were available that she would already have obtained one. She desires to know as much as she can about various healing techniques.

She has studied Deep Tissue, Polarity Therapy, Lomilomi, Thai, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral, Reflexology, Myofascial release, Watsu, Neuromuscular Re-Education, cupping and Gua Sha. She is known for utilizing heated Body Rocks™ during massages which become an extension of her hands to increase the circulation thereby giving her more time to address muscle dysfunction.

 

She specializes in providing clients with an intuitive style of therapeutic massage, using any modality that is necessary to help them achieve their goals: to feel better, to perform better, to look better, or just to be better.
